Carolina Gold BBQ Sauce

A smooth, golden barbecue sauce that strikes the perfect balance between tangy and sweet, with a subtle kick and deep umami undertones. Carolina Gold is crafted using a base of yellow mustard and honey, elevated with apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, and a bold hit of Burger & Banger seasoning—a savory blend packed with black pepper, garlic, smoked paprika, and a hint of S&B hot mustard. This sauce is perfect for drizzling over smoked sausages, slathering on burgers, or glazing grilled chicken. It’s Southern-style gold with a Tony twist—rich, smoky, and unapologetically addictive.

Ingredients 

  • 1 1/4 Cup / 350g Yellow Mustard
  • 1/2 Cup / 160g Honey
  • 1/3 Cup / 85g Apple Cider Vinn
  • 3 Tbsp / 25g Brown Sugar
  • 2 Tbsp Burger Banger
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire 

Directions

  1. Weigh all ingredients and place into pot, mix well
  2. Bring sauce up to a gentle simmer, stir to dissolve brown sugar and incorporate honey
  3. cool down and pour into jar or container
  4. Store in frig for up to 3 weeks
